Netflix Instant Watch Recommendations
So my family has Netflix instant, and I know firsthand how tough it can be to sort through all of the junk available and find a good movie to watch. So here are some movies I have found that I enjoyed, hopefully this list will help you next time you’re looking for a film to watch.
Listed in no apparent order.
- The Cross and the Switchblade
- Don’t forget to read the book!
- Gnomeo & Juliet
- Fluff but all right.
- Howl’s Moving Castle
- Awesome movie, but again, make sure to read the book
- Astro Boy
- World similar to Wall-E, robots instead of fat people. Good animation.
- The Iron Giant
- Classic! At least for my generation.
- Chariots of Fire
- Haven’t actually gotten around to watching, but classic.
- It Could Happen to You
- Interesting plot, cute story.
- My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend
- Surprisingly awesome. Watch all the way to the end, and you’ll most likely want to watch again.
- Alice in Wonderland
- I’ve watched this twice halfway through… yet to get to the ending =P
- Secretariat
- Yet to watch to the end, as well…
- Thumbelina!

- The Last Song

- Mansfield Park
- From what I had heard, I wasn’t expecting this to be good, but I was pleasantly surprised. Good adaptation of Austen’s book.
- Ever After
- If you are watching this movie on Netflix because you do not already own it, you have my pity.
- Waiting for Forever
- A well made movie with an indie feel… good, good movie. Break from cliche, bubbly romances.
Shows:
